Obituary for Douglas Alan Watts

Douglas Alan “Doug and Dougie” Watts, 60, of Mayflower passed away on 15 November 2023. He was born on September 1, 1963 in Little Rock, Arkansas, the son of Gerald Wayne and Vivien Ella (Huss) Watts. 


Doug was an inventory specialist with WIS International (formally Regis) for over 35 years. Doug was known by his friends and family as someone who took care of and provided for others. Doug lived to serve others, it didn’t matter their age or need, Doug had a huge heart, and he gave of his time, money and life.


Doug’s family members who are cherishing the memories of his life are his mother, Vivien Henderson (Cibolo, Texas); her son by Gerald Watts Sr, Wayne Watts (Leslie) and her children by Frank Henderson, Kathy Williams (Stanley), Frankie Gonzales (Jose) and Jeff Henderson (Lisa); numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Doug’s friends who are cherishing the memories of his life are too numerous to mention they span across Arkansas, Florida and Texas.


Doug is preceded in death by his father and stepfather.


A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Gap Mission Church, 14 Patty Lane, Conway, Arkansas.
