Obituary for Dorotha Credit Senior
Mrs. Dorotha Credit Senior, 87, of Little Rock, departed this life on February 7, 2012. She was born to the late Troy Credit and Renard Acklin Credit on May 12, 1924 in North Little Rock, AR. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rubin Senior. She was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church and was retired from the Veterans Administration.She is survived by two sons, Jerome Senior of Plantation, FL and Isaac Senior of Little Rock, AR; Five daughters, Iva Dean Buie, Astri Senior, and Shelia Johnson, all of Little Rock, Jackie Williams of Dallas, TX and Haylad Keown of Maumelle. Two sisters, Mary Hardy of Brooklyn, NY and Etoy Stubbs of Mayflower, AR; one sister-in-law, Wilma Credit of Conway, AR and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral services 11 am Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2012 at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 1900 Simpson Street, Little Rock. Visitation 6-7 p.m. Monday at the church. Interment Little Rock National Cemetery, Little Rock. Arrangements entrusted to Larry G. Acklin Funeral Home, 8821 Colonel Glenn, LR. "IN YOUR TIME OF NEED....WE CARE."
