Obituary for Donald L. Criswell
Mr. Donald Lawrence Criswell, 59, of Conway, AR departed this life February 22, 2013. He was born to Bobbie J. (Morgan) Criswell and Benjamin Criswell on February 18, 1954.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Roosevelt and Georgianna Morgan; a brother, Guy Shannon Spotswood and a very loving stepfather, George Spotswood, Sr.
He attended Conway Public Schools through the 10th grade. He graduated from Washington High school in Fayetteville, AR. He continued his education at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Behavioral Science and Psychology. He later earned a Master’s degree in Psychology at the University of Alabama in Madison, Alabama.Â
Donald was a life long member of Union Baptist Church in Conway, AR. He originally lived in Kansas City, KS where he was employed by Macy’s and Dillard Distribution Center as an Inventory Control Clerk. Years later he moved to Conway, AR where he continued to work as an Inventory Control Clerk at Target Stores. He retired due to his failing health.
Donald is survived by his mother, Bobbie J. (Leonard, Jr.) Dewberry of Kansas City, KS; Â two brothers, Gordon (Evelyn) Criswell of Kansas City, KS and George (Amanda) Spotswood of Leavenworth, KS; one sister, Jennifer Spotswood of Kansas City, MO; aunt Geraldine Morgan Smith of Lake Village, AR; uncles Thomas (Willean) Morgan of Los Angeles, CA and Dr. Gordon (Izola) Morgan of Fayetteville, AR. Four nephews,Â
Jason Wickliffee of Kansas City, KS, Joshua Criswell of Kansas City, KS, Jared Morgan of Kansas City, MO, and Alex Davis Spotswood of Leavenworth, KS; One niece Joy Wickliffee of Kansas City, KS; Two great nieces and one great nephew and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held 11 am, Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Union Baptist Church, 1257 Lincoln Street, Conway, AR. Visitation 10 am Saturday prior to services.Â
