Mr. Detroy S. Silverman, 67 of Humphrey, Arkansas departed this life Monday June 4, 2012. Â
Detroy worked several jobs over the course of his life including Riceland Foods of Stuttgart, AR and personal endeavors such as lawn and tree services.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Sarah Kelley; brother, KC Johnson; mother Lillie Newsome; and father, KT Silverman.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories his first wife, Hurselene Silverman; Sons, Anthony Silverman, Detroy Silverman Jr., Julius Silverman, Kenneth (K.T.) Silverman; Daughters Cynthia (Roosevelt Sr.) Davis, Angela Silverman, and Katie (Cornelious Jr.) Branch; Grandsons Brandon Bradley, Andrew (Sara) Silverman, Charles Banks Jr., Roosevelt Davis Jr., Dylan Silverman-Barnes; Granddaughters LaSondra Davis and Carli Branch; Sisters Katie (Glispy) Cooper, Shirley Armstrong, Annette Newsome; Brothers: JB Silverman, Moncle Silverman; four great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be 1 pm, Saturday, June 9, 2012 at First Missionary Baptist Church, 205 N. Oak Street, Humphrey, AR.  Rev. Arthur Hughes, Jr., Pastor.
Visitation will be 3-6 pm Friday, June 8th at funeral home.
Interment Elwin Smith Cemetery, 3406 Horseshoe Lake Road, Sherrill, AR (behind New Salem Baptist Church).
