Deacon Larry "Larro" Blakley 76 of Conway departed this life Friday January 23, 2009. He was born to the late Booker Blakley and Sally Crawford Blakley December 11, 1932 in Conway, Arkansas. He was a retired employee of Baldwin Piano Company in Conway after 35 years, a United States Army Veteran where he served in the Korean War, a deacon and long time faithful member of Zion Temple Church Of God In Christ where he served as financial secretary for 39 years.
Survivors,  Son - Michael Blakley, Sr. (Gladys) of Conway; 5 Grandchildren; 8 Great-grandchildren; host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 11am Friday Zion Temple C.O.G.I.C 1272 Sutton Street Conway. Interment Robinson Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Larry G. Acklin Funeral Home, Conway. "IN YOUR TIME OF NEED...... WE CARE".
