Obituary for Clifton L Gilreath
Mr. Clifton Landers Gilreath transitioned from this life to his final rest on Friday, November 8, 2024. The eldest son of nine children born to Charles Gilreath and Anna Brockman (both deceased), Clifton was born on October 8, 1941, in Center Ridge, Arkansas.
Clifton leaves behind his ever beautiful and faithful wife of 53 years, Dorothy Gilreath, his children Kimberly Dove, Robbie Gilreath, Cynthia Jovel, Carlton Gilreath, Norman Giles, Wade Thornton, and Clairissa Jenkins; 22grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. He is also survived by his brothers Roy and Robert Brockman, and his sisters, Helen Hale, Mayella Lewis, and Evelyn Roseborrow, along with a myriad of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Though Clifton will be sorely missed, we can take comfort in knowing that his name was etched in the Almighty’s Book of Life!
Visitation for Mr. Gilreath will be held 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm, Friday, November 15, 2024 at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, November 16, 2024 at Sweet Home Baptist Church, 6328 Hwy 9, Center Ridge, Arkansas followed by interment at Sweet Home Cemetery.
