Obituary for Claudie L. McCray
Mr. Claudie McCray, 71, of Conway departed this life November 17, 2010. Born to the late George and Ilene Breedlove McCray on March 9, 1939 in Conway, AR. He is preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Lee Ethel Pilgrim Ealy, Queen Ester McCray, and Lue Ella Forte; four brothers, James C., Bobby J., George L., and Calvin H. McCray.Â
He accepted Christ at an early age and united with United Baptist Church. He attended Pine Street Public School and was employed by the City of Conway for many years.Â
He leaves to cherish his memories, two sisters, Janie McCray of Des Moines, Iowa, Maudie McCray of Conway, AR and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday, November 20, 2010 at United Missionary Baptist Church. Visitations Friday from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at funeral home. Interment Dukes Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Larry G. Acklin Funeral Home, Conway. "IN YOUR TIME OF NEED..... WE CARE".
