Obituary for Charles Lewis
Mr. Charles L. Lewis, 68, of Conway, AR departed this life Wednesday, November 19, 2014. He was born in Conway, AR to the late Robert and Ethel (Acklin) Lewis on May 31, 1946.Â
He is preceded in death by his parents; Robert and Ethel Lewis; daughter, LaShawn Altheimer; two sisters, Vernesteen Nelson and Athalean Alford; and one brother, Otis Lewis.Â
He retired from General Motors in Michigan after 31 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Lewis of Conway, AR; one son, Charles; four daughters, Carmelita Johnson and Chelsea Lewis, both of Flint, MI; Andrea Gray and Jacqueline Smith, both of Conway, AR; one brother, Glen C. Lewis of Conway, AR; four sisters, Ioma Bryant and Patsy Pace, both of Flint, MI; Bobbie Landers of Little Rock, AR and Louise Green of North Little Rock, AR; Eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 12 noon, Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at Mt. Sinai Church of God in Christ, 349 Hwy 365 South, Conway, AR. Visitation one hour prior to services. Interment Ray Cemetery.Â
