Obituary for Cecil Sr. Edwards
Mr. Cecil Edwards, 59 of Conway, Arkansas departed this life Friday, May 28, 2010.  He was born to Joe and Luella Edwards in New Rhodes, La. on Dec. 27, 1950.
He worked many years as a roofer for Covington Roofing Company and Wheeler Construction and Roofing Company.
He was preceded in death by parents; his grandmother, Maggie Ruffin; three brothers, John Edwards, Wilful Edwards and Joseph Edwards; and one great-grandson.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Virginia Edwards; one son, Cecil Edwards, Jr.; two daughters, Latasha Edwards and Connie Anderson all of Conway; three sisters, Rose Brooks of New Rhodes, La., Diana Harris of Houston, Texas and Judy Jackson, of Houston, Texas; one brother, Ronald Edwards of New Rhodes, La.; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Bethel AME Church in Bigelow. Visitation will be 6-7 p.m. tonight at the funeral home.
