Obituary for Bobby Peoples
Mr. Bobby Peoples, 78, of Dermott, Ar departed this life on Sunday, February 24, 2019. He was born April 23, 1940 in Lake Village, Arkansas to Robert Peoples and Margaret Peoples.

He is preceded in death by both parents and five siblings.

Bobby accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Greater Open Door of Carson, CA.

Bobby attended school at Central in Lake Village and was employed by Brown and Root in Carson, California for several years before retiring. Bobby also had a passion for cars and loved to share his mechanic expertise with others. He also restored old homes for several properties in California and Oklahoma.

Bobby relocated back to Arkansas after the death of his soulmate, Juanita Lloyd of 32 years.
Bobby had a very calming demeanor with a quiet and warm personality.

After his passing Bobby was surrounded by daughter and caregiver Gwendolyn, son-in-law David, and son Rickey.

Bobby leaves to cherish his memory of five children, Gloria (Alvin) Taylor, Mayflower, AR; Rickey Peoples, Dermott, AR; Gwendolyn (David) Coleman, Dallas, TX; Candace (Rickey) Crockett, Kansas City, MO; Bernadette (Nathaniel) Robinson, Birmingham, AL; and four children of soulmate, Eddie (Linda) Lloyd, Jr., Abilene, TX; Patrick Lloyd, Enid, OK; Marcus (Tonya) Lloyd, and April Lloyd of Carson, CA.

He leaves twelve grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren; Six brothers: Frank Peoples, Kansas City, MO; Howard (Brenda) Peoples, James Peoples, Arthur (Latosha) Peoples, Monroe (Vergie) Mitchell and Lee (Sharon) Mitchell all of Kansas City, KS; Six sisters: Hildred (Marshall) Butler, Kansas City, MO; Florida Burrell, Kansas City, KS; Hazel Slater, Kansas City, MO; Margaret Peoples and Johnnie Peoples, Kansas City KS, and Ethel Peoples, Little Rock; a devoted nephew, Don Peoples of Montrose, AR and a host of nieces and nephew, and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held 12:00 noon, Saturday, March 9, 2019 at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 518 St. Mary Street, Lake Village, AR. Visitation one hour prior to service. Interment Lake Village New Cemetery.
