Obituary for Beverly Joyce McCarther
Beverly Joyce McCarther, 56, of Ector, TX departed this life on July 17, 2018. She was born on February 20, 1962 in Oklahoma City, OK to Isam and Jackie McCarther.
The family moved to Conway, Ar and later moved to Little Rock, Ar where she attended Central High School and joined the ROTC. Afterwards, she served four years in the Army. Beverly graduated from Grayson College as the "Most Outstanding Criminal Justice Student" academic award.
She is preceded in death by her father, Isam McCarther; brother, Orlando McCarther; and stepfather, Henry Brown, Jr.
She leaves to cherish her memories, mother Jackie Brown of Little Rock, AR; son Len (Natasha) Smith of Jacksonville, AR; daughter Ivy Ilentomhen of Boston, MA; three grandsons Jaylen, Wolen and Traylen Smith; three brothers Rev. James McCarther, Sieben McCarther and Phillip McCarther, all of Little Rock, AR; two aunts Joyce Foster of Henderson, WV and Fredda McLeod of Loma Linda, CA; nieces and nephews Crystal Harris, Quinesha Alexander, Quillan McCarther, Lamont McCarther, James McCarther, Jr., all of Arkansas and a host of cousins and friends.
Celebration of Life Services will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Liberty Hill Baptist Church, 1215 S. Schiller Street, Little Rock, AR.
