Bernasteen Long, 84, of Little Rock, departed this life January 2, 2006 at The Pine Nursing Center, Hot Springs, Arkansas. She was born September 8, 1921. She was a registered nurse at St. Vincent Medical Center. Survivors include, adopted daughter, Peggy Ashley (Michael), Little Rock, AR and a special friend, Bernestine Washington. A special thanks to Dr. Ferdinand Roda and the staff of The Pines Nursing Center in Hot Springs, AR.Visitation will be Wednesday, January 11, 2006, 6-7 p.m. at Larry G. Acklin Funeral Home Chapel, Little Rock.Funeral services will be Thursday, January 12, 2006, at 11 a.m. at Union A.M.E. Church 1825 Pulaski, Little Rock, Arkansas. Interment, Rest In Peace Memorial Gardens, Hensley, AR.  Arrangements, Larry G.
