Mr. Avery Dion Pickens, 37, of Conway, AR departed this life on Tuesday, May 18, 2021. He was born June 12, 1983 in Conway, AR to Dollie I. (Young) Pickens and the late Lonnie E. Pickens.
Early in life, Avery accepted Christ and was baptized at Greater Pleasant Branch Baptist Church in Conway, AR. He was a 2001 graduate of Conway High School. Avery was employed with Virco Manufacturing Company in Conway, AR.
Avery was united in holy matrimonty to Tereasa Webb on November 11, 2011. To this union one son, Alexavier "A.J." Pickens, was born. He loved his family and was an avid music lover.
Avery leaves to cherish his memory to his wife, Tereasa (Webb) Pickens; son Alexavier Pickens; mother Dollie Pickens; sister Tanya Pickens; brother Rev. Adrian (Stephanie) Pickens, all of Conway, AR; mother-in-law Patricia Whittenburg of DeValls Bluff, AR and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 am, Monday, May 24, 2021 at Greater Pleasant Branch Baptist Church, 601 Spruce Street, Conway, AR. Visitation 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm, Sunday, May 23, 2021 at the funeral home. Interment Robinson Cemetery in Conway, AR.
