Obituary for Andrew Lee Mosley
Mr. Andrew Mosley, 78, of Mabelvale, AR departed this life Saturday, December 21, 2019. He was born August 18, 1941 in England, AR to the late Jason Mosley and Luvenia (Perkins) White.
He is preceded in death by his parents Robert Jason Mosley, Sr. and Luvenia Perkins Mosley, brothers Charles J. Mosley and Nathaniel Mosley, sister Mary Lou King, step-father Cal White, grandson Jacorian Blueford and step-daughter Cara Mosley.
Andrew was a proud graduate of Pulaski County Training School in North Little Rock, AR. He was also a US Army veteran. Andrew earned many different trade certificates including a certificate in Business that he got from Draughon Business College. He also drove trucks for Allied Van Lines. After he left Allied, he went to work for The Williams Family at Feinstein’s Clothing Store. He developed a very special bond with the family and made sure to keep in touch with them no matter where he was. Andrew worked for the US Postal Service where he remained until he retired. He was truly a Jack of All Trades. He loved “tinkering” as he called it. He was always restoring furniture and making jewelry and other trinkets for family and friends.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Maura Mosley of Olongapo, Philippines; daughters, Shonitra (Chris Sr) Elliott of Mabelvale, AR, Carol Mosley, Requita Mosley, Nikki (DJ) Mosley, Brandy Mosley and Lavasha Mosley (Deshun) of Little Rock, AR; Keyasha Mosley Gordon (Carlos) of Jacksonville, AR and Arlyn Leona of Olongapo, Philippines; sons Anthony Elbambo, Arman (Dhes) Elbambo and Albert Elbambo of Olongapo, Philippines; three sisters, Deborah Bennett, Marva Jackson of North Little Rock, AR and Christine Mosley of Maumelle AR; four brothers, Eugene (Nona) King of Conway, AR, Robert Mosley, Jr. and Richard (Sheila) Mosley of Little Rock, AR, and Michael Mosley of North Little Rock, AR; 27 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; 5 special goddaughters; 1 special godson, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Trinity Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 14208 Old Maumelle Road, Maumelle, AR. Visitation 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Friday, January 3, 2020 at the funeral home. Interment 11:00 am, Monday, January 6, 2020 at Ar State Veterans Cemetery, North Little Rock, AR.
