Obituary for Andrew G. Green
Mr. Andrew G. Green, 87 of North Little Rock departed this life on Thursday October 25, 2007. Born March 26, 1920 to Dock and Alberta Green of Marche, he was preceded in death by his mother, father, first wife, a son and nine siblings. He was a member of Silver Tide Lodge #218 and J.L.H. Smith Consistory #76 and a 33rd Degree Mason, where he held leadership positions for many years. He was employed as a Carman with the Missouri Pacific Railroad and retired in 1982 after many years of employment; he also worked as a school bus contractor with Pulaski County Special School District for many years. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Flossie Walker-Green of North Little Rock, Two daughters, Carolyn Hunt of North Little Rock, Bessie Thompson of Gary, Indiana; Sons, Raymond (Louise) Green, Charles (Ceasarene) Green, Cecil (Mildred) Green, all of North Little Rock, Arkansas and Benjamin Bunting of Syracuse, New York; Two step sons, Anthony (Sandra) Haney and Keith (Carmelia) Haney of North Little Rock, Arkansas; Seventeen grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Family hour will be Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at Holly Grove A.M.E. Church Hwy 161 Rixie, Arkansas from 6:30pm - 7:30pm. Funeral services will be held at 11a.m. Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at New Life C.M.E. Church, Burnside Drive, (Marche Community), North Little Rock. Burial at Green Memorial Garden on Marche Lateral Road.  Memorials may be made to the New Life C.M.E.
