Zikoria was a precious girl who I had the priviledge of taking care of at Arkansas Children's hospital a few times. Andrew and Sharon: you two took such wonderful care of her and it was always so clear how much Zikoria loved you both. I know God is smiling on you two for stepping in as her parents and giving her the best life possible here. I know Zikoria is looking down and smiling too. When we got the message that Zikoria passed we were all heart broken at work. It is hard to see loved ones go (especially our children); however, we can have peace of mind knowing God took another one of his little angels home.
You all are in my thoughts and prayers!

How can I put into words what Zikoria means to me??? She was, is, and always will be a bright star in my sky. She taught me so many things along our short journey. I learned to listen to those who could not speak. I learned to never under estimate the power of prayer. I learned to never under estimate the courage, will, and drive of such a young patient. I learned exactly what it means to work at ACH-to give care, love, and hope. All these things Zikoria taught me...and many other people as well. She touched lives of people she never even met, and that is why she was put on this earth. "Well done my good and faithful servant." Although she is playing, running, talking, singing, and praising our Father in Heaven, she is truly missed here on earth. My tears will soon dry, but my life will never be the same for it was touched so deeply by this little angel. Thank you Sharon and Andrew for allowing me to be one of the many people to take care of Zikoria whenever she visited ACH. I love you all, and I am praying for all of you-always.

I am sorry to hear that little Zikoria has passed away. Please take comfort in what the Bible promises for all that have passed on. John 5:28, 29 Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.
