I would just like to offer my prayers and sympathy to Mrs. Pickens and familiy. Coach Pickens was always one my favorite coaches. He coached def. line for us and was my math teacher.Coach Pickens was loved by all of us who had the honor to have played for him.He was quite the athlete himself, I remember him racing the team and not one time did anyone beat him. He was a great coach to us and I know he will be missed.

I was very saddened by the loss of my Uncle. His leadership and guidance for our family will be sorely missed. He was always one of wise and kind words, spoken softly from a kind heart.
