Mrs. Virginia Edwards was born in Conway, Ar on October 19, 1947 to Jake and Josephine Johnson. She departed this life on Saturday, October 28, 2017.
She was a member at Harlan Park Baptist Church in Conway, Ar. She graduated from Pine Street High School. Virginia worked many years in Home Health Care. She worked for Hospice Home Care for 12 years. She went to work for Visiting Angels, where she was employed at the time of her death. Virginia was a very compassionate and lovable person that everyone loved. She did whatever she could to help anyone.
She was proceeded in death by her husband of 35 years, Cecil Edwards; mother Josephine Johnson; father Jake Johnson and great grandson Romaris Stephan Anderson.
Virginia leaves to cherish her precious moments one son, Cecil Edwards, Jr. of Conway, AR; two daughters, Latasha Edwards of Conway, Ar and Connie Anderson of Little Rock, AR; two brothers Roy Piggee and Jake (Tracy) Piggee, Jr.; five sisters Elva Hampton, Minnie (Samuel) Woodard, Lesterine (John) Umonah, Julie (Henry) Smith and Barbara Johnson, all of Conway, AR; Nine grandchildren Cecilia, Artrina, Arkeshia, Xzandria, Antonio, Jaquan, Terico, Christopher and Kayaleana; Nine great grandchildren Zanayah, Za’kelzie, Za’kashis, Eric, Amayah, Royalty, Christian, Raven and Carter.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 noon, Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Harlan Park Baptist Church, 1895 Dave Ward Drive, Conway, Ar. Visitation 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm, Friday, November 3, 2017 at the funeral home. Interment Robinson Cemetery in Conway, Ar.
